Grapefruit Avocado Salad

Grapefruit Avocado Salad

Citrus is the fruit of winter. At its peak during the cold months, we can enjoy the sweet, tart, tangy flavors and wait for spring. Grapefruit and avocado pair especially well: the sharp bite of grapefruit and the mellow creaminess of avocado, nestled into baby spinach leaves and dressed with more citrus in the form of lime juice that’s sweetened with honey and rounded out with olive oil. So simple. So good. What is your favorite food of winter? What do you look forward to enjoying? Let us know in the comments below!

A grapefruit is just a lemon that saw an opportunity and took advantage of it.
